BOYS TO MEN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT (DRUG, ALCOHOL AND VIOLENCE PREVENTION) PROGRAM

The International Mothers' Club, has been formed by International Wellness Network, Inc. for the expressed purpose to promote, inspire and empower women to take charge of their lives and their family lives as social entrepreneurs and community organizers. One of the projects that the International Mothers' Club is involved in is our "Boys to Men" Training and Development Program focused on reducing involvement for both young men and women in drug and alcohol abuse and violent behavior, particularly focused against women and children.

Within the African/African American community, all of these vices has escalated to an epidemic proportion within the past 15-20 years. As mothers of our youth today, it is necessary for all women to pull together, work together as well as organize ourselves to take charge of our families and our community in dismantling the negative energy that is seemingly flowing through our communities for destruction. We believe at International Wellness Network, Inc. when the elders and parents become more involved with our today's youth, we will see a significant reduction in the above behavior, and experience more positive behavior from our children. Also when we, as a community, begin to change our thinking from a "poverty-hand out" mentality, to one of "possibilities-hand up" mentality, we will witness a dramatic change taking place within our neighborhoods.

Through IWN Boys to Men Training and Development Project, young men and women will have the ability to gain tools and experience as entrepreneurs, building financial security for themselves, as well as assisting others to do the same as members of IWN Boys to Men Social Entrepreneurs and Community Organizers, creating business and employment opportunities for the 21st Century youth/particularly youth of color within the Urban Centers across America.

Participants of Boys to Men will be empowered through IWN's Youth Nation Green Corp Etiquette Classes. Youth in these sessions will learn the fundamental principles to use as successful entrepreneurs and community organizers:

-Respectful behavior
-Resourceful actions
Remembering history - culture and sacrifice of elders before them, creating a sace we now call America, where all can thrive.

Other offerings young adults have in carving a niche as an entrepreneur within the 21st are in the areas of:
-Special Event Planning
-Trained Public Speaker (through our Toastmasters' Youth Club)
-Real Estate sales and broker training
-Theater and Arts Professionals
-How to's in successfully running a small business
-Facilitator's training as an IWN Listening Circle "Cultural Diversity" Trainer
Learn how to develop a Garden of Eden Transformational Center in your community.

These are just a few offerings that International Wellness Network, Inc. has available for young individuals who has a desire to want to stretch their wings as Social Entrepreneurs and Community Organizers.

To find out how you can play a role as a social entrepreneur and community organizer, restoring your community o success.
